After your arrival at Ivato International Airport in Antananarivo, you will be warmly welcomed by our MadaPlusTRAVEL team. We will then accompany you to your hotel, ibis Antananarivo Ankorondrano, where you can start your Madagascar journey in a relaxed atmosphere.
You leave Antsirabe and continue to Miandrivazo, the starting point of the Tsiribihina River cruise. The route passes through diverse landscapes with rice fields and savannahs.

Begin your two-day Tsiribihina River cruise, one of Madagascar’s most popular nature adventures.
During the boat journey you will encounter:

The boat journey ends at Belo-sur-Tsiribihina.
Travel by sturdy 4×4 vehicles along adventurous tracks to Bekopaka, gateway to the Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.
Cross the Manambolo River by ferry.
Overnight: Olympe du Bemaraha
Spend two full days exploring the extraordinary Tsingy de Bemaraha, one of Madagascar’s most striking natural wonders (UNESCO). As Madagascar’s largest protected area (152’000 ha), the park features towering limestone pinnacles, deep canyons and razor-sharp rock formations.

Return towards Kirindy, again crossing the Tsiribihina by ferry.
In the evening, embark on a guided night walk in the Kirindy Reserve.
With some luck, you may encounter the world’s smallest primate – Madame Berthe’s Mouse Lemur, a critically endangered species.
Overnight: Akiba Lodge – Marofandilia
Morning wildlife viewing in Kirindy Reserve, followed by a visit to the iconic Avenue of the Baobabs, one of Madagascar’s most photographed landmarks.
Continue via sandy tracks to Belo-sur-Mer, a charming coastal village.
Overnight: Ecolodge du Menabe, offering beachside relaxation, tranquility and excellent cuisine.
Belo-sur-Mer is known for its traditional wooden boat construction (boutres). The peaceful fishing village features white sandy beaches, turquoise water and an authentic coastal atmosphere.
Planned activities:
Drive to Morondava and check into Laguna Beach.
Enjoy relaxing moments by the beach and pool, visit the local fish market and watch traditional Malagasy outrigger pirogues – a perfect finale on Madagascar’s west coast.
Flight back to Antananarivo and transfer to ibis Antananarivo Ankorondrano.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Discover Antananarivo – or “Tana” – set in the central highlands and known for its hilly views, colonial architecture and lively markets.
Visit key landmarks such as the Rova Royal Palace, Ambohimange Rova and the bustling Zoma Market.
Opportunity to shop for traditional Malagasy souvenirs: handcrafted wooden and raffia items, semi-precious stones, vanilla and spices.
